We at Papadi Game are convinced that it is possible - and we are committed to developing games that combine learning and fun. Our Geomax game covers core concepts of Geometry, in line with the CAPS document for the Senior Phase (Grade 7 to 9). You can use Geomax as a supplementary tool inside your classroom, for revision or as an introduction to Geometry.
The Teacher Dashboard provides you with a deeper understanding of the game. You are also able to view the progress of your learners and the learning addressed in the game. You’ll notice that there is very little explicit ‘teaching’ in the game. This is how we believe it should be: learn-as-you-play. While Geometry concepts are the main focus, age-appropriate problem solving and critical thinking are central learning points. We'll start by giving you a few pointers on how to set up your own Dashboard and how to add learners.
